FAQ

THE STUDIO

What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 12 hours of the class, unfortunately, you will lose your credit.

Can I pause my subscription?
Yes! You can pause your subscription for one billing cycle every 12 months, as long as you’ve had it for at least two months. Just make sure to let us know at least 48 hours before your next payment is due.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes. To bring a guest, just purchase two credits and book two places in the class. We will then ask your guest to sign the health waiver on arrival.

If I turn up late to a class, will I be allowed in?
We operate on a 0-minute policy. Unfortunately, if you are late for the class, you won’t be let in.

Can I take pictures and film during class?
We have a strict no phone policy during class. However, you are more than welcome to take pictures before or after class. Ask your trainer to get involved, they love being part of your content!

How does your waitlist work?
If you’re on the waitlist and a spot becomes available, everyone on the waitlist will receive an email notification. The space will go to the first person who books, so make sure you already have a credit purchased to secure your spot quickly.

Are you available for private hire?
Yes! If you send your enquiry to hello@themethod.com, we can share more details with you, including our price list, and organise your private hire from there.

Can I get rewards for referring a friend?
Yes! If you refer a friend and they book and attend 3 classes, you’ll receive 2 free credits as a thank you for referring them.

Do you have showers?
No, however we do have changing rooms and toilets.

Are you on Classpass?
No, we aren't. You can enjoy The Method through purchasing a bundle pack or a subscription via this website.

CLASSES

Do I have to be an experienced gym goer to attend your classes?
Not at all! Classes at The Method are for all abilities and focus on enjoying yourself while exercising. Instructors can tailor movements and offer modifications when needed - just come along and have fun!

Can I attend the classes if I’m pregnant?
All our classes can be adapted during pregnancy. However, we would recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before joining.

Where is Ballet Boost?
Ballet Boost is no longer on the timetable, but Glide and Sculpt and LSD are the perfect alternatives to keep you moving with the same energy, elegance, and sculpting focus you loved. Glide and Sculpt carries forward the Barre-inspired precision and grace, but adds deeper core work and dynamic full-body sequences for strength and control. LSD (Lengthen · Shape · Define) gives you a full-body burn that blends strength, low-impact cardio, just like in Ballet Boost, alongside targeted core and glute training, helping you tone, define, and feel stronger from head to toe.

What has happened to Beat Cardio?
Beat Cardio has been renamed Beat Power — it has been elevated to ensure you get more out of each of your sessions. For a more choreographed dance class, we have Beat Dance on the timetable.

I have no dance experience, can I still join Beat Dance?
Yes of course - both Beat Dance and Beat Power are accessible to all. Beat Dance is our more choreographed version of our Dance workouts so if you want to ease in we suggest you try a Beat Power class first.

What is LSD?
LSD (Lengthen · Shape · Define) is our new class on the timetable and is a full-body workout designed to tone, strengthen, and sculpt. Using resistance bands and weights, you’ll move through a strength section, low-impact cardio, and a focused core-and-glutes finisher. Expect an energising burn that builds lean muscle, lifts your heart rate without joint stress, and leaves you feeling stronger.

TREATMENTS

What are the benefits of The Infrared Lymphatic Roller?
The Infrared Lymphatic Roller combines deep, intensive infrared heat with targeted rolling to deliver recovery and wellness benefits. The infrared warmth heats your muscles from within, boosting circulation, easing joint and muscle pain, and promoting the removal of toxins. Paired with the lymphatic roller, it helps reduce inflammation, support tissue repair, and stimulate cellular function for increased recovery.

What should I wear?
You can wear your workout gear whilst using the roller.

What should I eat or drink before?
Drink plenty of water before and after to prevent dehydration and to aid the recovery process. We don't recommend using the treatment on an empty stomach or right after a large meal.

I have no prior experience using this treatment, is that a problem?
Not at all! The Roller is programmed with a variety of programmes used to target different areas of the body, and the team will be on hand to walk your though the whole process.

Is The Infrared Lymphatic Roller suitable for everyone?
You must consult your doctor before using the body roller if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or are recovering from injury.
